The Singapore Service Excellence Medallion returns for the second year running to recognise the pinnacle of achievement for the service industry in Singapore. The call for nominations starts on 2 July 2012 and will close on 10 August 2012. Besides recognising a customer-facing Service Professional , a new category to be introduced in 2012 will see a Medallion being awarded to a Service Champion at the management level. The award is organised by the five GEMS Up agencies, namely SPRING Singapore, the Singapore Tourism Board, the Singapore Workforce Development Agency, the Institute of Service Excellence at SMU, and the National Trades Union Congress.
