Romanian envoy here to clarify matter

Romania's Ambassador to Singapore is expected to visit the Ministry of Foreign Affairs today to clarify his government's comment that former charge d'affaires Silviu Ionescu still enjoys diplomatic immunity. Singapore Management University lecturer Mahdev Mohan agrees with Singapore's interpretation of Article 39(2) of the Vienna Convention and explains the usage of the diplomatic immunity.
