[Paris and Singapore, 20 December 2013 (Friday)] – The Université Paris-Dauphine (Dauphine) and Singapore Management University (SMU) have, on 12 December 2013, signed an agreement in Paris to launch an international alliance.

The partnership is a sustainable one between two renowned universities focusing on Social Sciences and Management fields, and having the same holistic approach towards teaching, education and research.

[SINGAPORE and ATLANTA, 16 December 2013 (Monday)] -  Teradata Corporation, a leading global provider of analytic data platforms, marketing applications and analytics related consulting services, announced today the winner of the 2013 Teradata University Network (TUN) Teaching Innovation Award. Associate Professor Michelle Cheong and Mr Murphy Choy from the School of Information Systems at Singapore Management University (SMU) received the Award for their teaching case on “Effective Use of Data & Decision Analytics to Improve Order Distribution in a Supply Chain”.

[Singapore, 2 December (Monday)] – The Singapore Management University (SMU) School of Law is pleased to announce that it has, together with its partners in Africa and Asia, been selected by the United Nations Working Group on the issue of human rights and transnational corporations and other business enterprises (‘UN Working Group’) to undertake a research project aimed at developing a structured template for the implementation of the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights through national plans of action.

More than 600 SMU students from Year 2 to seniors and post graduate programmes networked with prospective employers at the biannual fair, which by its conclusion will see recruiters from 70 companies review resumes, offer career advice, and initiate connections that may lead to job offers down the line.
