Singapore, 17 April 2024 (Wednesday) – The Singapore Green Finance Centre (SGFC) of Singapore Management University (SMU) has announced the launch of four new courses, in support of the new Sustainable Finance Jobs Transformation Map unveiled by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and Institute of Banking and Finance today. Three of the courses are aimed at upskilling financial services professionals in high-priority roles related to sustainability and risk, and one is designed specifically to cater to members of the public.

Singapore, 18 April 2024 (Thursday) – A new study by Singapore Management University showed that there remains a stigmatic attitude towards suicide compared to two years ago. 1 in 3 Singaporeans would do something to help someone who is suicidal, yet 7 in 10 said they are fearful that they might exacerbate the situation by making the suicidal person feel worse.

This S$4 million gift is the first and largest contribution to date from a collective group of overseas donors to SMU.
Singapore, 22 February 2024 (Thursday) – Fresh graduates from Singapore Management University’s (SMU) 20th cohort have registered healthy and stable overall employment, with 92.3%[1] of them employed and commanding good starting salaries across all 7 of the university’s degree programmes.
The results were revealed in the annual Joint Autonomous Universities Graduate Employment Survey (JAUGES), jointly conducted by SMU and the other Autonomous Universities.
76.1% or 1,717 of the 2,257 SMU alumni who graduated in 2023 took part in the survey.
