SMU student Valencia Tan shared the sacrifices that her mother made to support her sporting ambitions. Valencia is determined to honour that faith by giving everything she has on the bike. She added that she’s lucky that her mother supports her ambitions, which motivates her in every training and race. Valencia hoped to make it to the Olympics to repay what her mother has done for her to have a chance at cycling.
