Student stopping tuition due to lack of money sparked undergraduate's inspiration to create free classes

SMU student Qasrina Sujimy volunteers at BrightGuides, a free Maths tutoring programme for low-income students. Qasrina said her experience opened her eyes to the fact that the challenges faced by children were not only related to finances, but some also faced issues with self-confidence and a less-than-conducive family environment. She hopes that the youth will participate in volunteer efforts like BrightGuides, because every child mentored would shape society in the future.
