SMU student and national shooter Fernel Tan was among the inaugural batch of 12 athletes who received the spexEducation Undergraduate Scholarship from Sport Singapore at the Singapore Sport Excellence (spex) Athletes Investiture at Singapore Sports School (SSP). She shared that she feels motivated and honoured to receive the scholarship and be a role model for her juniors. At the investiture, SSP also signed a memorandum of understanding with six universities, including SMU, to facilitate athlete-friendly practices.
