The ICAEW China and South-East Asia Business Challenge 2024, organised by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), attracts many aspiring university students who are interested in developing their careers in the field of chartered accounting each year. The 8th edition of the competition was held on 11 May 2024 in Jakarta, Indonesia. Ting Capital – a team comprising students from SMU’s School of Accountancy, Lee Kong Chian School of Business, together with one student from Nanyang Business School – represented Singapore to compete against 10 other elite teams, earning the championship title and a cash prize of $7,500.
