The SMU Behavioural Sciences Initiative (BSI) yesterday hosted the BSI Conference 2021 titled "Dealing with Disagreements", where speakers discussed the issues of dealing with disagreements and explored how to resolve problems and generate solutions in the context of Singapore. Ambassador-at-Large Professor Tommy Koh noted that it is natural for people to have differences in opinions. However, when dealing with disagreements, one should humbly listen to each other and not seek to win an argument, but a lose a friendship in the process.
