Partnership management can enhance universities' project-based learning

In a commentary, Clarence Goh, SMU Assistant Professor of Accounting (Practice) and Director of Professional Development and Gary Pan, SMU Professor of Accounting (Education), Associate Dean of Undergraduate Admissions and Student Development and Academic Director of SMU-X, discussed how partnership management can enhance universities' project-based learning. They emphasised the need to focus on four key pillars of partnership management –  value proposition, depth of collaboration, knowledge creation and exchange, and continuous feedback. They also shared about an accountancy study mission to Laos with 29 SMU students before the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, as part of the SMU-X Overseas initiative.
