In a commentary, SMU Associate Professor of Law Eugene Tan discussed the factors contributing to the sustained long queues at some polling stations during the recent General Election and the less than positive voter experience. He also highlighted the key questions that remain unanswered despite the Elections Department's press release on its findings on why there were abnormally long queues at some polling stations and what lessons are learned for future elections.
