In a commentary, SMU Lecturer of Accounting and Director of Student Matters at School of Accountancy Benjamin Lee shared why SMEs should embrace machine learning. He noted the importance of gathering relevant quality data, and provided two examples of machine learning-enabled tasks used by some SMEs. He concluded that as long as SMEs have the right mindset on machine learning adoption and are ready to embrace changes, they will be able to realise the benefits of digitisation.
