A new survey by SMU's Institute of Service Excellence (ISE) revealed that the national score in the 2019 Customer Satisfaction Index of Singapore (CSISG) rose to an all-time high of 74.3 points. Results from the just released study show that this is a 1.2 percent improvement over the previous year's score of 73.5 points, and marks a record high in the CSISG study's 13-year history. ISE Executive Director Neeta Lachmandas and Head of Research and Consulting Chen Yongchang discussed the survey findings and their views on what companies should be doing to keep consumer satisfaction high in the coming months.
