Putting tough times to bed

SMU alumna and national swimmer Yip Pin Xiu, a three-gold Paralympic champion, shared her insecurities and how she overcame her unease and fear about not getting better as a competitive swimmer. She won two golds at the world meet in London and earned a nomination for The Straits Times Athlete of the Year Award in 2019, and now only feels excitement towards her title defence at the upcoming Tokyo Paralympics.
