More than 500 receive National Day Awards, including veteran civil servant J.Y. Pillay
At the National Day Awards ceremony held on 1 December, President Halimah Yacob presented SMU Chancellor Mr Lim Chee Onn with the Order of Nila Utama (With High Distinction) and former SMU Chancellor Mr JY Pillay with the Order of Temasek (With Distinction).
