SMU will be launching two new degree programmes, and various second major courses, in response to industry demands. The two new degree programmes by School of Information Systems aim to nurture future-ready graduates, whilst the Lee Kong Chian School of Business and School of Economics are to launch second majors in Sustainability and Data Science & Analytics respectively. Due to the strong demand for competent graduates with specialised sector knowledge who are able to take on a variety of maritime-related roles, SMU will be launching a new Maritime Business and Operations Track that aims to develop students who have specialised knowledge in maritime business operations.
