At the World Economic Forum on Asean yesterday, panellists discussed how to ensure Asean is inclusive as it embraces its digital future. Professor Annie Koh, SMU’s Vice President, Office of Business Development who was one of the panellists, called fellow panellist – Malaysia’s Youth and Sports Minister Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman, a champion debater who turned down a scholarship to study at Oxford University to serve his country after the general election in May – a “rock star”.
