SMU, together with i-Sprint Innovations – a local cyber security solutions provider – successfully secured funding under the National Cybersecurity Research and Development Programme’s grant call, which awarded S$15.6m to nine projects. Only projects by Singapore-based companies that were done in collaboration with Institutes of Higher Learning, research institutions or government agencies were accepted. i-Sprint Innovations will be working with SMU on a security solution for Android smartphones, and aims for a beta launch by the end of next year.
