At the SMU China Forum 2016 yesterday, Mr Sun Xiyong, Deputy Director-General, China-Singapore (Chongqing) Demonstration Initiative on Strategic Connectivity (Chongqing Connectivity Initiative or CCI) said that the collaboration areas under the CCI will continue expanding beyond the existing four priority sectors. Under the 4+N development strategy, it will also promote collaborations in the education, healthcare and tourism sectors. In the education sector, closer collaboration will promote academic exchange and nurture more talents, which will be useful to the four priority sectors. Last month, SMU, Chongqing University and Y3 Technologies Pte Ltd signed an MOU to jointly establish a big data logistics laboratory in Chongqing University to promote the development of the logistics industry in Chongqing.
