SMU School of Accountancy undergraduate Grace Lim was featured in an article where she talked about her passion in teaching financial literacy. As vice-president of the Citi-SMU Financial Literacy Club, Grace conducts financial literacy lessons with students from the Institute of Technical Education colleges as she endeavours to inspire other young adults to start managing their finance early. She believes that her accountancy background will allow her to have a "better understanding of companies' results statements", adding that she intends to venture into long-term investments. While Grace is still unsure if her long-term future lies in the accounting industry, she is considering going into auditing or risk management upon graduation.
