SMU partnered NUS and NTU for the first time this year to organise the Food Trail Challenge 2016, which was originally launched by SMU. The 2016 challenge had 350 participants travelling around the island for a food trail. Besides competing to finish their food in the fastest time, contestants were also encouraged to capture a specific Pokémon character at each designated stop.
