More than 200 students from SMU, NUS and NTU will carry out seven projects in neighbouring countries to help the poor. All projects have been selected under the 'eMpowering Youths' project, which aims to increase awareness among the youths on social issues in the region. With funding from Maybank Foundation, Maybank pledged to put aside $800,000 in the coming three years for the project.
