Singapore para-swimmer Yip Pin Xiu sets 2nd world record at European games

Two days after smashing the world record for the women's 100m (S2) backstroke, SMU School of Social Sciences undergraduate and para-swimmer Yip Pin Xiu broke another record at the International Paralympic Committee European Open Championships in Funchal, Portugal on May 6. She beat her own previous world record of 1min 1.61s in the women's 50m (S2) backstroke by nearly 1 second with a time of 1min 0.64s.
