More university students investing

SMU students were featured in a Lianhe ZaoBao column, which highlighted the different investment clubs and associations of the various local universities, including SMU Eye Investment Club. These clubs aim to offer students who are keen in investing with professional knowledge and tips on investment. SMU Lee Kong Chian School of Business 2nd year student Wilson Teo Wei Sheng noted that many of his friends are interested in investing, and that he has also attended a wide array of investment talks and seminars. SMU first year students Alvin Tan and Marcus Eng Kwang Hwee also said in a Q&A that their investment funds come from their personal savings and that they always proceed with caution for each investment.
