SMU has partnered with Queen Mary University of London’s (QMUL) Centre for Commercial Law Studies (CCLS) to launch an innovative Masters of Law LLM programme to train legal talent in cross-border commercial law. The fully integrated programme will give students the opportunity to be awarded a Dual LLM in Commercial Law (Singapore and London) degree after 15 months of study in both London and Singapore, with QMUL and SMU. The partnership combines expertise from both countries. The article also noted that SMU recently launched the first Intellectual Property centre in the region that focuses on Asia–centric and cross-disciplinary research.
