Tech start-up Latize turned to the United Overseas Bank-SMU Asian Enterprise Institute for help a year ago to identify potential markets for its software. With the help of three SMU undergraduate students, Latize embarked on a six-month digital marketing and research project supported by SPRING Singapore. The students researched data management problems faced by different industries and how Latize could solve them. These insights have not only helped Latize to fine tune its software, but also spurred the company to develop solutions that address specific business needs in financial services.
