SMU Associate Professor of Law Eugene Tan and SMU Assistant Professor of Law Jack Tsen-Ta Lee were present at a panel discussion held yesterday as part of the launch of a book, A Guide to General Elections in Singapore. It was put together by the SMU Apolitical Club and edited by lawyer Grace Morgan, an alumnus of the SMU School of Law. Associate Prof Tan commented that the general election was called rather quickly, before Singaporeans could really savour the nation’s golden jubilee celebrations.
