More firms sign UN Global Compact

Team Impact Advisory from SMU emerged the champion, bagging the first prize of $5,000 with their proposal at the CDL-Compact Young Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Leaders Awards. Back for the fifth year, CDL-Singapore Compact Young CSR Leaders Award is a youth case competition which aims to promote thought leadership amongst our future leaders to foster greater awareness of embracing CSR principles into a company’s daily operations. The competition required students to devise corporate social responsibility strategies based on real-life business cases. The SMU team triumphed over other teams from other tertiary institutions such as Nanyang Technological University and Hwa Chong Institution with their proposal, which consisted of three employee-focused strategies to engage telco StarHub's stakeholders.
