The Asia Pacific Women's Forum in June was co-organised by SMU, AIG, Thomson Reuters and Marsh. The forum discussed the reasons why few women are seen in top management roles and was cited by Sierra Signorelli, global chief underwriting officer for speciality lines and specialty executive for Asia-Pacific at AIG, in a commentary. She discussed the importance of having more women in corporate leadership and also gave some recommendations for women to succeed in male-dominated industries.
