In a commentary, [Chairman of the SMU Board of Trustees and] Executive Chairman of Banyan Tree Holdings Limited Mr Ho Kwon Ping commented on the risks that Singapore will face in the next 50 years. Mr Ho stated that Singapore is almost certainly going to remain a sovereign nation, but Singaporeans have to take note not to be complacent and be aware of economic, social and political matters.
