In a special feature, SMU Assistant Professor of Accounting (Education) Tracey Zhang discussed her findings on audit regulators. She commented on the accounting reform in the US after the Enron scandal and the challenges to understanding the audit market. Assistant Prof Zhang also shared her optimism about the progress and contributions of her research as there is evidence that audit regulation works and that it sends a powerful signal.
