At the 5th Annual Sim Kee Boon Institute for Financial Economics Conference 2015, held by SMU on May 6 and co-organised with the China Europe International Business School, DBS Group Holdings Chief Executive Piyush Gupta gave a keynote speech on how new business models in the financial industry could push slow-moving banks out of business. The conference was attended by 400 financial professionals, start-up bosses, researchers and regulators.
