Maybe fund data should include 'love life'

Research conducted by SMU Professor of Finance and Associate Dean (Research) at the Lee Kong Chian School of Business Melvyn Teo and University of Florida’s Yan Lu and Sugata Ray found that marriage and divorce can negatively affect the work performance of hedge fund managers. The study, titled “Limited Attention, Marital Events, and Hedge Funds”, examined 98 marriages and 76 divorces of hedge-fund managers from 1994 to 2012.
