Satisfaction level among consumers the highest but fell across five sectors

According to the Customer Satisfaction Index of Singapore (CSISG) by the Institute of Service Excellence at SMU, the satisfaction level of customers in the food and beverages, retail and tourism sectors had declined sharply last year. However, the overall satisfaction level jumped to the highest level last year, driven by positive performance in the finance and insurance, and healthcare sectors. This is the fourth consecutive year that the index is showing a recovery and charted a record increase since it first started in 2007.
