Yeo Pei Shan and Clement Chua are among the pioneer batch of students enrolled in the SUTD-SMU Dual Degree Programme in technology and management. Clement said that he has some interest in engineering, and that the dual degree programme also allows him to acquire business management knowledge which will enhance his future career choices. He is of the view that the programme will enable him to widen his social network amongst SMU and SUTD’s faculty and students. Moreover, students can participate in co-curricular activities and enjoy the facilities in both universities. Pei Shan and Clement felt that this “dual identity” allows them to experience a very enriching student life.
