SMU Professor of Accounting Sum Yee Loong was one of an esteemed group of panellists at the Singapore Business Review’s Singapore Budget Breakfast Briefing 2015 held on February 24. The event saw more than 80 attendees as they discussed with the panellists the implications of Budget 2015 immediately after it was read in Parliament. The panellists lauded the Budget for its focus on improving local innovation and manpower skills, its comprehensive support system for businesses, as well as its benefits to Singaporeans from all walks of life.
