SMU business graduate Morgan Yeo had been working in property development when his father was diagnosed with stage four pancreatic cancer in February last year, forcing him to take over the reins of his family-owned furniture business, JR&P Industries earlier than expected. He realised quickly that the business model used by his father was too antiquated for the 21st century and discussed with his family about rebranding the business into Roger&Sons.
