SMU Vice Provost (Research) and Dean of the SMU School of Information Systems Steven Miller is one of the six new members, each from a different sector, appointed to the Data Protection Advisory Committee (DPAC). The DPAC advises the Personal Data Protection Commission on matters relating to areas of policy guidance, as well as the review of key policy and enforcement issues under the Personal Data Protection Act.
