SMU Associate Professor of Law Eugene Tan shared his thoughts on whether Singaporeans are too inward looking and commented on why Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong may have thought it was timely to speak about being more outward looking in our perspective. He said that there is a need for Singaporeans to balance both domestic issues as well as international issues and understand how they impact us in order to survive and thrive in the world that we live in today.
