Customers less satisfied with transport, logistics

The latest Customer Satisfaction Index of Singapore survey conducted by the Institute of Service Excellence at SMU (ISES) showed that despite recent efforts by the authorities to improve the quality of public transport services, customer satisfaction levels still fell by 0.8 per cent from last year in the transport and logistics sector. Transport experts said they were not surprised, since it would take time before the effects of government actions could be fully felt. ISES Director Caroline Lim said that different sectors might influence each other’s customers, whether positively or negatively.
