Indonesian tycoon gives $1 million bursary to SMU
Chairman of Indonesia’s Mayapada Group Dr Tahir has set up a $1 million bursary to help low-income Singaporeans studying at SMU. This is an addition to an earlier $1 million contribution allocated for Indonesian students. Dr Tahir was present to sign the agreement with SMU President Professor Arnoud De Meyer.
