SMU Professor of Law Howard Hunter was one of the participants in a recent panel discussion on creating values for the corporate and academic communities in the digital age organised by Alliance University. The experts spoke on how real life examples are available on the internet rather than in textbooks. They also spoke about how long-term contracts, significant financial investment and joint governance are the major challenges to the university-industry relationship.
