Despite suffering from cerebral palsy, SMU graduate Suhaimi Sudar did not let his condition hinder him in the pursuit of academic and sporting success. Suhaimi completed his studies with a Bachelor Degree in Science (Economics) and received a $20,000 scholarship from the Singapore Maritime Foundation and Fednav Singapore Pte Ltd. While at SMU, he also represented Singapore in football at the ASEAN Para Games in Myanmar, winning a silver medal.
