In a discussion on the use of ordinances in India, Indian scholar Professor R. Prasannan cited [SMU Assistant Professor of Law] Shubhankar Dam’s book Presidential Legislation in India: The Law and Practice of Ordinances (Cambridge University Press, 2014). He called it “the most comprehensive study of India's ordinance raj” since the 1980s.
