Speaking at SMU's second Singapore-India Business Dialogue, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office, Second Minister for Home Affairs and Second Minister for Trade and Industry, Mr S. Iswaran said that significant scope exists for Singapore to further enhance economic co-operation with India. He also noted that India is a significant trading partner with Singapore, adding that opportunities lie in India's industrial, infrastructure and skills development sectors.
