Aarti Home (India) founder Sandhya Puchalapalli, who spoke at a Wee Kim Wee Centre international women’s conference at SMU, shared about the type of work her organisation does for women and girls in India, the current societal attitudes towards women, her personal experiences with the girls and her hopes of empowering an increasing number of women through training and educational programmes.
