SMU recently signed a memorandum of understanding with the Society for the Physically Disabled to promote best practices for inclusion within its working and learning environment. A room equipped for wheelchair users to rest in between classes and assistive technology are part of SMU’s efforts to make students with physical disabilities feel more included.
