Schools now more willing to help disabled students

In a forum letter, Mrs Leaena Tambyah applauded the move by SMU and the Society for the Physically Disabled to provide more support for students with disabilities. She noted that the Asian Women's Welfare Association's (AWWA) Therapy and Educational Assistance for Children in Mainstream Education (Teach Me) services knows of three young people with physical disabilities who have been able to benefit from SMU without encountering physical barriers since 2003
