Chan Chun Sing: My grandmother taught me how to care for my family

Speaking at the Service Learning Symposium jointly organised by the SMU Centre for Social Responsibility and social enterprise Positive Intentions, Minister for Social and Family Development Chan Chun Sing shared about how his grandmother taught him the importance of caring and supporting his family when he was young. He told the 150 secondary students attending the symposium that they must not forget to respect their elders, and care for others. He also reminded them that they should care for their parents if they value them, regardless of how much they earn.
