As part of SMU's Tsinghua Lecture series, Tsinghua University’s Professor of Building Management Liu Hong Yu recently gave a lecture on the Chinese real estate market. He said that the Chinese government should still participate in and support the market. He suggested that the part that belongs to the market should be taken charge of by the market, and the part that belongs to the state should be taken charge of by the state.
